Definitely an unusual sight. Very rustic and worth a trip. Nice restaurant and cafe.
Awesome food with perfect view great service
Be warned - the jetty itself is permanently closed (its not stable and was apparently closed a year ago due as a hazard).A pleasant enough cafe/restaurant if you dont mind the (too-loud for mepersonally) live music. And if youre up for a rather expensive helicopter ride, it might be worth a visit. Really, all you can visit there is a bit of an outdoor museum of rusted farm and train vehicles.
This place was one of the worst we have been to..The staff didn't believe my husband when he said no cheese on my toastie ,they yelled out to me if it was true or not..he ordered Tapers ...we then waited (he) for 1 hour and I for 1.25 hours for our mealothers being served the same kind of meals as us that came in after. Us...when asked were our meals were we were then informed that there was a 45min wait this being now closer to waiting 1hr... Not being told this when we arrived. We are not happy with the service or food here and will never go back cost was $10 for toastie and $32 for tapers
Went to see what the jetty was after arriving in town only to be greeted by an angry lady who said we were driving near her private property. We had driven down the road to the jetty. Jetty run down and closed. Old machinery etc out the front pretty cool. Pity about the greeting we received
